(The subnautica root folder looks like something like this: steamapps\common\Subnautica) Make sure its empty right now, delete any thing inside, Keep the Empty Qmods folder open. There should also be a QMod folder in your subnautica root folder. Now if you launch the game there should be a Mods section inside the settings menu. Once it's done uninstalling, launch the program again and you should be able to install it. It might ask you to uninstall it, if so say Yes. If there is no Mods tab, go ahead and download and launch the program from here: If you remember vortex installing Qmods for you, even if if you see the mods tab re-download the program, it may be outdated. Launch the game from steam and if you go into the settings of subnautica and there is a mods area, you've installed it before correctly. It has no standalone UI Besides when you initially installed it. Think of Qmods as more of a Mod Loader than a mod manager. That is something I saw when searching but I already have a QMods directory where every thing is in there, and there is no exe to load, I even see the "Modding Helper" directory that was SML Helper, but there is nothing in there I can launch either.
